Adam X returns to his imprint Sonic Groove with his first album in four years, a 56 minute excursion into EBM and Cyberdelic Industrial Techno titled RECON MISSION. The mission begins with beat driven hypnotic electronics that invoke paranormal illusions of Easter island mythology and Bermuda Triangle disappearances. Climbing forward the album crosses the line into harder industrial territories, conjuring visions of New York City‘s dystopian past and CIA shadow government experiments.

Adam‘s own voice adorns tracks such as „Never Ending Quest“, „Modular Bodies“ and the title track „Recon Mission“, while manipulated dialogue samples take the stage on „ Tales Of Mystery” , “Search & Retrieval” & “Delusions Of Paranoia”. Subtle, whispered statements creep in and infect the listener‘s ear, guiding them deeper into mental oppression. A1) Sept opens up the EP with the powerful track ‚Chaos Collider‘. A greasy bassline with a punchy kick connects perfectly with an accompany of delayed vocal loops and dynamically working percussions. All this turns the track into a serious dancefloor weapon.

A2) The second track is a subjective vision of the title track mixed by Setaoc Mass. Mysterious and atmospheric sounds with a well compressed kick and groovy drums – that is what we call the signature style of Manchester born uprising star.

B1) Putting on the B-side you will find an original production by Sept. Stomping kick, eerie sounds and a LFOed main lead – that is what makes Sin Area a good choice for peak time hours.

Ascetic Limited is starting a new catalog as an outlet for more frequent and alternative projects in which we aim to give the artists full control of their sonic expressions. To start off the series we present Altrd Being‘s first solo EP in 3 years after having released his last EP on Black Art Records (Colombia). One half of Motionen and co-founder of the label presents 3 tracks showcasing his sound, plus a remix from Aegis, moniker of our Ascetic family, Christian Gerlach.

The title track Microcosmos is a hypnotic bass heavy journey that takes the listener into the realms created by Altrd Being.

Second, Aegis’ version of Microcosmos is a mind melting interpretation, taking some of the sounds from the original and taking it to a more dance floor vibe. Next, Canere is an experimental, dance floor oriented ambient techno track in which Altrd Being builds an ghostly ambience with suspense. Lastly, Reason Cuatro ends the EP with a minimal, yet groovy and trippy vibe, showcasing the ideas of Altrd Being.

Courtesy launches new record label Kulør – debut release out October, 2018.

The name Kulør means ‘colorful’ in Courtesy’s native tongue and promises a playful output for the Danish DJ, who in recent years has put Copenhagen on the global music map with the short-lived but impactful label Ectotherm.
