OFF / GRID makes a captivating debut on Life In Patterns with his ‘Sonic Spectrum’ EP. Previously recognized as an underground gem in the techno scene due to his acclaimed, self-released EP, ‘Time To Shine,’ the Hamburg-based producer has garnered significant attention in 2023 with EP releases on labels like Planet Rhythm, Uncage, DifferentSound, and Entourage Concept.
On LIP009, he presents four meticulously crafted vinyl tracks and a digital bonus track, each a testament to his remarkable talent for creating hard-hitting, euphoric DJ tools. His music is distinguished by cutting stabs, hypnotic acid lines, and a distinct dub influence, all seamlessly woven together with powerful drum sounds.

Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, OFF / GRID is an up and rising techno producer, influenced by classic detroit techno, dub techno and hardgroove with a profound appreciation for music spanning from jazz to jungle. In 2022 he debuted with his non-label EP “Time To Shine” on Bandcamp, swiftly grabbing the industry’s attention. Since then OFF / GRID is expanding his footprint in the scene by releasing his own ever-evolving interpretations of techno.

Ferdinger returns to his own label with an eagerly anticipated 8th vinyl release, an EP titled “Second Nature.” This captivating EP features two original tracks from Ferdinger himself, as well as two remarkable collaborations with renowned artists Introversion and JakoJako, who shouldn’t require any introduction.

The EP begins with the collaborative tour de force “Air France,” where Introversion and Ferdinger effortlessly blend percussive elements, groovy rhythms, and dubby chords. Intricate layers of delay create a mesmerizing atmosphere, delivering on the ethereal promise suggested by the title. Following this captivating opener is “Bottom Lines,” a relentless and uncompromising pounder infused with hypnotic acid lines that will leave listeners spellbound.
Flipping over to the other side of the record, we encounter the title track “Second Nature,” a high-octane and melodic journey that showcases the artistic synergy between JakoJako and Ferdinger.
