Press Info:
New reference introducing the Polish producer Szmer, who brings us three wild and dynamic cuts followed by two outstanding remixes. On the A side the artist builds this release defending the sounds of the old school, sucking from the Detroit Techno and abusing of the well-known TR-909 drum machine in a very pleasant way. Raw aesthetics and exceptional rhythmic work could perfectly describe the first three tracks of the package. On the B side we have the remixes of Uun and Vertical Spectrum, providing the dose of darkness and mysticism that makes this one a very attractive and interesting release.

Press Info:
We return with another split EP for this reference, presenting and welcoming the artists FU-5 and Vince from Argentina and Portugal respectively. Opening things on side A we have ‘Compress C3’ and ‘Compress C4’ two analog monsters where the Argentinian artist shows his wildest side. Building a fluid narrative through strong kick drums, syncopated synth sequences and uneasy hi hats he shapes these powerful tools. ‘Swig’ and ‘Fey’ are the cuts that make up the B side of the release. Showing personality and a distinctive sound, the young Portuguese artist subtly merges the Techno style of the early 2000s with the current tendencies, resulting in two very useful and effective tracks for any situation of the night.

Press Info:
We have Numbers and Parameters back with a new work of six original cuts. Starting this small journey “Distopía” appears, a track full of mystery in which the artist plays very well with textures and atmospheres. The second track “On The Contrary” shows us more of that sound that characterized his debut album, where intricate and hypnotic saturations predominated. Continuing with “Minor Concern” in the third place we find a groove-loaded cut given by the perfect union between percussion and modulated synth sequence. Opening the B side arrives “Every Society” of wild and casual sound with a certain psychedelic touch. “Five People Were Found” is the name of the fifth, a more muscular production that, while remaining faithful to the hypnotic sound, flirts with the Industrial Techno. To close this trip “Undo” delights us with the sound of those classic bleeps that laid the foundations for the kind of Techno that, according to many, will never cease to be the source of inspiration.

04.

Universo
(Moteka Remix)

Press Info:
A very especial reference this time, featuring four highly effective remixes of the original Mutationem EP released by Røttar and Sun Over Me earlier this year. Opening things we have the Åre:gones’s interpretation of “Industriegebiet” leading the track to a more EBM influenced sound but also turning it into some kind of hybrid between Hypnotic and Industrial Techno. Second it’s Arnaud Le Texier’s impecable version of “Dark Energy” using the original parts of the track to create a very interesting and trippy cut where he made use of his characteristic sound in favor to shape things into a more atmospheric mood. JLTZ completely transforms “Gravis” into a whole new track much more deep and classic but yet groovy, letting us see his amazing skills as a producer when it comes to details and refinement. Last but not least we found the “Universo” remix by Moteka, possibly one of those epic and timeless cuts that when you first listen it gets stuck in your head without knowing why, and lives up to the very good reputation of the french artist.

Closing Phase

Press Info:
We are very happy to welcome the talented Swedish artist Axling as a new member of our family. Making his debut at the label with a package of exceptional productions, showing his characteristic raw and analog sound in each of them. Starting with ‘[1010]’ a cut loaded with movement where he makes very good use of the classic bleep by dividing it into two parts, a low and a much more treble one, thus creating a complex and contagious rhythmic pattern. On the second track we have ‘Screen’ with an imposing kick and an envelope sub bass as predominant elements that accompany the very well programmed synth arpeggio and 909 hi hats sequence. We continue with ’10 sec to panic’ a track of a more progressive character and influenced by that sound that was so popular in the raves of the late 90s, where the artist boldly leaves the comfort zone without losing his distinctive touch. ‘End Signal’ is another organic cut, that many would describe as Loop or Hypnotic Techno, which uses that old and effective formula where doing more with less is the main rule. Finally we find ‘Closing Phase’ a track of more gray nuances and background reverberated sounds, perfect to close any set and be the icing on the cake in this release.
