Russian DJ and producer, Anton Komarov aka Yansyet is coming with a new album on our label.

Although the sounds of his releases are diverse, each of them has a recognizable signature. He blends ebm, industrial, midtempo, techno, and electro to create his sound. He has releases on record labels like Routine (Russia) , Soma Records (UK) and Soil Records (Spain) to name a few.

This new release is a reaction to the events of our days. The word Motherland in Slavic languages sounds like father – mother that gave birth to you. The release itself features Industrial and EBM tracks with touches of dark disco.

NPLX003 marks a re-release of Schwefelgelb’s “Dahinter Das Gesicht”, which was released on [aufnahme+wiedergabe] in 2017 primarily. It still remains highly demanded as an influential record for actual Industrial infused Techno. This re-issue comes in a special edition of remastered track versions and includes a 136 BPM edit of its most notorious track “Es Zieht Mich” as addition to the four original tracks. The 12’’ 140 g solid yellow / transparent green colored vinyl provides a download code and will be released mid of November.
Previous releases appeared on [aufnahme+wiedergabe], Fleisch Records, Minimal Wave Records’ imprint Cititrax and n-PLEX.

35 Jahre: The Great Commandment – Die 10″ Vinyl Re-Issue

Im September 1987, vor genau 35 Jahren, veröffentlichte die deutsche Synth-Pop Band Camouflage ihre Debüt Single The Great Commandment, welche sie über alle Ländergrenzen hinaus berühmt machte.
Anlässlich dieses großen Jubiläums, überrascht das Trio um Heiko Maile, Marcus Meyn und Oliver Kreyssig, nun ihre Fans mit einer besonderen Neuauflage der erfolgreichen Single, welche am 23. September 2022 als 10″ Vinyl in neuem Gewand erscheinen wird.

Ursprünglich, aus der reinen Freude am Musizieren als Demo aufgenommen, entstand zwischen 1983 und 1985 in einem Keller der Eltern, irgendwo im schwäbischen Randgebiet von Stuttgart, etwas, das sich nur wenige Jahre später als Welt-Hit herausstellen sollte.

Nachdem man zunächst erfolgreich durch sämtliche Indie-Radiosender rotierte, kletterte Camouflage mit ihrem Genre-definierenden Sound bis auf Platz 14 der deutschen Charts.
Doch damit nicht genug. In den USA gelang der Band sogar die erste Spitzenplatzierung: Platz 1 in den amerikanischen Billboard Dance Music/Club Single Charts, wo der Hit Song für 3 Wochen verweilen konnte. Selbst in den Billboard Top 200 ging es hoch bis auf Platz 59.

Camouflage steht wie kaum eine andere deutsche Band, stellvertretend für den Sound der 80er Jahre und lädt nun mit der neuen Vinyl Re-Issue der Single, ein auf eine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit, welche nie so modern klang wie mit The Great Commandment.
