Press Info:
The secret verse of the Holy Christian Bible. A version telling the story of a betrayed, tortured man, who returns to Earth seeking revenge on humanity, to eradicate all forms of belief by spreading his dark doctrine – a teaching that the project holds at its core, unfolding as an evolutive story throughout the surfacing productions. A love declaration, dismembered by darkness, violence and blasphemy.

A notion of global art remains integral, utilising the practices of multiple mediums; collaborating with tattoo artists, filmmakers, designers, choreographers, black metal musicians and vocalists – various disciplines are forged into one unforgiving image. Verset Zero live shows present an alternative offering, influenced by extreme music; pagan, noise, industrial metal, dark ambient, doom and black metal. Broken, enigmatic sounds, proposed over desolate, war-torn ambiance and noise. A prayer cutting through an oppressive atmosphere.

with this 6 track opus, the king of darkness still needs to make sure that hell is inevitable, influenced by witchcraft mythology, Missa introduces the long and painful jouney ahead of us with a twisted ambiant driven sabbat opening, followed by « Sabbatum » the tango of the witches with some EBM distorted riffs. At the peak of panic, it’s time to terminate all life on earth with the ultimate curse… Maleficius is here to give the mortals one last goth rave before impact, among the dead.

the three remixers have their own take on this witch fest, Donna Harringwey pushes further the punk aspect with a screamer and garage interpretation, BLNDR brings us back to spooky island with some tribal grooves and Ruiji Takeuchi shows us the way to industrial trance with an underground futuriristic black magic vibe.

Ger ready to feel the dark smoke and the witch’s anger…

Press Info:
Originally released by Side Effects in 1986, “Zamia Lehmanni” was the third (and final) core SPK album and was Graeme Revell’s first truly solo project. He was in a period of transition, somewhere between the industrial noise of the early years and his later award-winning soundtrack work. On the day before this was first released, this style of music, now ubiquitous (especially in soundtracks), did not exist.

After “Information Overload Unit” cleared a space for subsequent explorations, and the environmental percussion and anchored mutilated sound collages of “Leichenschrei”, the “body without organs” was fully eviscerated. Graeme felt ‘industrial music’ was becoming ossified and needed to be taken into radically new territories: ‘post-industrial’.

The track “In Flagrante Delicto” (mastered as originally intended here) was later used by Revell for his work on the soundtrack for the 1989 film “Dead Calm”, which won him Best Original Score from the Australian Film Institute.

Unavailable in any format since Mute’s 1992 CD edition, we now present this landmark album on newly remastered CD, and on vinyl for the first time since 1986. Approved by Graham Revell, this release comes with new artwork by Abby Helasdottir and is remastered by Martin Bowes (The Cage).

LP on sumptuous 180gm black or limited edition gold vinyl 500 copies, presented in a 350gsm gatefold sleeve.

CD in a 6-panel digipak. The track “The Doctrine Of Eternal Ice” appears on CD only, but is included on the digital download for vinyl.

Both formats feature new liner notes from Graeme Revell, 2019.

Press Info:
Delving deeper into the Moroccan occult, Prophän attempts to shed the light on the obscure cult of ancestors that is widespread over north-africa.

Taking form into several shrines that were erected over time in honor of the ancient saints, those places of worship always attracted believers who were seeking the holy men’s protection against the evil eye and other ill-intentioned demons.

Drawing heavy influence from traditional Moroccan folk music, this EP consists of 3 broken techno tracks where tribal polyrhythms are surrounded by dark evolving soundscapes meant to represent the deep state of trance some of the saint followers would put themselves in hoping to reach epiphany.
