Blossoming with the rhythms of Spring, Unrush delivers their next release in a fitting and timely manner. Disillusionment with the systems of power and the current state of the world has led to a rich breeding ground for new ideas, new pathways, and new ways of being. In this spirit, Unrush presents their next compilation, Rush of Communion Vol. 2. A collection of tracks from friends and collaborators, it embodies the musical path forward, clarity of mind, strength of heart, and visions for a better world.
As with the last compilation, all proceeds will once again go to the Detroit Justice Center, which is a national nonprofit organization that pays bail for people in need, reuniting families and restoring the presumption of innocence. In a time when police violence and racism are as rampant as ever, it is crucial to do what is possible to help those in need. To achieve this peaceful vision of the future, internal syncopation and harmony are essential. This serene and playful collection of tracks enables just that, bringing solace to the collectively troubled mind.
