After Tigerhead’s highly anticipated appearance on HET006 with “Sleeping Paralysis”, she now comes up with her very own release named “Silk Road EP”. The A-Side of the vinyl: “Rave 4 Dave” is just made for the peaktime dancefloor – pure banging power. “Lethal Combination” is breaking things down hard, while citing and quoting the drum’n’bass-genre. On the B-Side Matrixxman deliveres two remixes of Tigerhead’s tracks. His “Darkside Remix” of “Lethal Combination” can be heard as a Techno-Electro-fusion – this one is definitely putting the cowbell back on the map! Finally Matrixxman’s remix of “Rave 4 Dave” is a trippy dancefloor track, that is rounding up the EP nicely.

Pablo Bozzi returns to Jennifer Cardini’s Dischi Autunno with a follow up record to the ‘Last Moscow Mule’ EP from 2020. The six track EP ‘Ghost Of Chance’ marks a deepening from the previous forays into the Italo Disco & Synthwave influenced sound Bozzi has previously explored. With a heavy hand in the realm of nostalgia Bozzi expertly weaves melody through drum machine loops, the track comes to a climax with longing vocals reminiscent of 80s new wave and goth dance clubs. Although steeped in the nostalgia of time gone he manages to lend a modern production, a cleanness of sound that never stays too long in the past.

With a creative journey beginning at a young age with classic training and studies at the National Conservatory of Toulouse, it was after completing his degree in Sound Design in Montpelier that Pablo Bozzi moved to Berlin and made an impact in its underground dance scene. Upon arrival he developed several collaborative projects and aliases and a series of releases on respected labels and his Second Sight residency on Berlin’s streaming platform HÖR that have seen Bozzi’s reputation grow steadily. His passion for EBM, Italo Disco and Synthwave has deeply impacted his sonic landscape. It is this aesthetic which threads the past with the present that led him to release a solo EP ‘Walk On Wire’ on BITE, the label co-run by Berghain resident Phase Fatale. Shortly after this release Bozzi and Phase Fatale joined forces as Soft Crash, which they describe as “Italo Body Music” and were going to present a live show at Panoramabar in December.

Uniting the worlds of donk, euro-dance, trance and techno, the emerging producer is less concerned with opinions of the chin-stroking purists and more concerned with fun – crafting sensual and infectious pop-techno bangers that have fun firmly on the menu.

‘Lost In Emotion’ begins with a deep, heads down approach, lending influence from the pop melodies of artists such as Marlon Hoffstadt and his Midnight Themes label but with a headsy, underground appeal. ‘In Der Nacht’ follows in similar passion – inspiring images of that club scene from Blade – a vampirish, dark and distinctly Berlin twist on the typical trance aesthetic.

‘Bubby Paradise’ trades the darkness for bubblegum, arcade soundscapes that could score a pixelated, arcade racer before we are transatlantically beamed to the carnival of Brazil’s capital; ‘São Paulo Fever’ giving Latin-American rhythms the signature Heartstring blend.

Also available as a digital only track is ‘Coming Back 2 U’; a deep, hardcore trip through strobe lit dark rooms.
