Info:
The cassette version of the original UK album does not have the reprise of “Everything Counts” at the end.

The “Reprise” of “Everything Counts” on the original USA issue of the album is the tail end bit of the “In Larger Amounts” 12″ Version of “Everything Counts”, faded in. It is not credited on the cover. Also, all original USA vinyl pressings were mispressed on the seam (edge) of the cover. They say “Contruction Time Again” (note missing “s”).

The CD version of the original USA album featured the bonus track “Everything Counts” (In Larger Amounts), instead of just the end bit (like the vinyl and cassette).

The album version of “Love, In Itself” is also referred to as “Love, In Itself 1”. “2” Is the Single Version, “3” is the remix, and “4” is the jazz club-like version.

In 2007, the album was completely remastered, and released in two different formats (SACD + DVD, and LP in Europe, CD + DVD, and LP in North America). The SACD + DVD version featured the album in a remastered 5.1 surround sound presentation, on the SACD disc. The CD + DVD version featured the album in a remastered 5.1 surround sound presentation on the DVD disc. The CD and LP were remastered stereo audio. The US edition of the remastered CD was not a SACD. Only the European release was in SACD format. The US DVD is a standard DVD, not a specific DVD-Audio disc.

Dystopian rhythms abound as Rowka touches down on Mindcut for an outing of his own, after impressing on the label’s huge Against The Grain compilation. Industrial elements swirl around a dedication to heavy groove-laden beats across 4 original tracks, half broken, half straight to the floor. These are heavyweight bangers with careful attention to sound design, so approach with caution. The excellent Ike Dusk rounds out the EP on the remix, taking things deeper whilst applying a generous smattering of funk.
