Few people stand for a real underground approach to techno like ADAM X does. For over 20 years he has been right in the center of the scene. Before moving to Berlin he ran the Sonic Groove record shop in NYC for 15 years. The Sonic Groove label also owned by Adam is still a dominating force in the scene and has released music of legends like Abe Duque, Blake Baxter, Frankie Bones, Kevin Saunderson and many more. With djing, producing music Adam in recent years has received a lot of support from people like Chris Liebing and many others for his productions as ADAM X as well as for his aliases TRAVERSABLE WORMHOLE, ADMX-71.

Adam’s sound is dark and heavily influenced by his passion for industrial and old school EBM music. With COERCIVE PERSUASION on the A-side he combines these influences with a functionality that can only derive from his extensive touring as a dj and live act. It is a dark anthem that will destroy all real techno floors. No doubt. The B-side DEPROGRAMMING SEQUENCE comes along with driving bells that give the stomping beat of the track a little uplift and therewith balances out the heavy dark side of the EP.

Timothy Alexander started making music in 2002 both in various rock ensembles and as a solo electronic act.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Skinny Puppy, Nitzer Ebb, Ministry, Killing Joke and more atmospheric artists such as Steve Reich, Akira Yamaoka, Tristam Cary and William Basinski, Timothy has constantly sought to mould his own unique sound.

Sharing stages with the likes of Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Gary Beck, Grovskopa, Casual Violence, Audio Injection and Vince Watson, Timothy has learned to develop a tough and up-front mixing style.

Having previous support from Adam X, Ancient Methods, Tommy Four Seven, Chris Liebing and Audio Injection/Truncate, Timothy is one of the new, true underground artists to watch out for.

With big hitters such as Beat Dis, Bomb The Bass helped mould late 1980s acid house. Their linchpin, Tim Simenon, has led the group through a number of different incarnations, painting vivid pictures of modern culture on the albums ‘Clear’, ‘Unknown Territory’ and ‘Into The Dragon’.

More recently Bomb The Bass have settled as a duo, vocalist Paul Conboy providing lyrical complements to Simenon’s continually inventive productions. The duo have made arguably the best work under the moniker, with guests from Mark Lanegan to Fujiya & Miyagi (‘Future Chaos’), then a successful co-production with Gui Boratto (‘Back To Light’).

Simenon and Conboy return in 2013 with new single Wandering Star and album ‘In The Sun’, both on Simenon’s new imprint O Solo Recordings, and will take their vividly inventive electro on tour.

Mit großen Hits wie “Beat Dis” haben Bomb The Bass den Acid House der späten achtziger Jahre mitgestaltet. Tim Simenon, tragende Figur der Band, hat Bomb The Bass durch eine Vielzahl von verschiedenen Verwandlungen geleitet und mit Alben wie “Clear”, “Unknown Territory” und “Into The Dragon” lebhafte Bilder der modernen Kultur gezeichnet, darüber hinaus wirkte Bomb the Bass als Produzent und Remixer u. a. für Depeche Mode, Neneh Cherry, U2 und David Bowie.
