It is time once more for Mike Wall and his crew. Since the 90’s he has been infatuated with the world of electronic music. Countless gigs, releases on Smallroom Music, Hidden Recordings, Sleaze and the founding of his own label Wall Music later he is curating this event with growing success. The label may no longer be an insiders’ tip but Jeff Rushin might well be. He broke out with his fantastic EP ‘A Figment Of His Imagination’ on Luke Slater’s label Mote Revolver. That in itself may be a guarantee for good music (special tip: Kamikaze Space Programme) but with Jeff Rushin they really struck gold this autumn. The sound of the EP mesmerizes with incredible depth and warmth yet is surprisingly simple. It is a must-have of the season and will sure play in our minds for a long time to come. Wit him are also Wall Music’s Michael Schwarzi and Ixel.

Es ist wieder Zeit Für Mike Wall und seine Crew. Seit den 90ern begeistert ihn die elektronische Musikwelt. Unzähle Gigs, Releases auf Smallroom Music, Hidden Recordings, Sleaze und der Gründung seines eigenen Labels Wall Music später kuratiert er hier regelmäßig die Partyreihe WALLS mit wachsendem Erfolg. Das Label selbst ist lange kein Geheimtipp mehr, aber Jeff Rushin eventuell schon. Er begeistert zur Zeit mit seinem Release ‘A Figment of his Imagination’ auf Luke Slater’s Label Mote Revolver. Das Label allein ist schon Garantie für gute Musik, aber mit Jeff Rushin sind sie diesen Herbst auf Gold gestoßen. Der Sound der EP besticht mit einer unglaublich warmen Tiefe und ist erstaunlich in seiner Einfachheit. Sie ist ein Must-Have der Saison und wir sind auf den dahinter stehenden Künstler gespannt! Mit dabei sind außerdem Wall Music’s Michael Schwarz und Ixel sowie natürlich MIKE WALL selbst.
