After some great nights in the mainhall Habitus is going to host a Lanthan.audio showcase at the silo-floor this time.

Lanthan, literally, is a rare earth metal in addition to something hidden or evasive in terms of Greek mythology. By combining music with both – architecture and photography the goal of the label is to not lose sight of all three art forms. With the first release in August 2015, composed by EDIT SELECT, MIKE PARKER & CLAUDIO PRC a solid foundation for a successful collaboration with other outstanding artists was created. More releases followed a little bit later by Deepbass and Brendon Moeller aka Echologist, and that with great success.

This night Deepbass will give his live – debut in Germany and is probably going play some stuff from his upcoming longplayer on Soma – Records.

Christian Gerlach, the head of Lanthan.audio will warmup the floor for him.

Habitus residents Elias and Emanuel De Vayrac are going to play two extended 4h sets at the beginning and closing of the night.

Schon der Schriftsteller Hugo von Hofmannsthal war der Auffassung, dass das Leben ein ewiges Wiederanfangen ist. Abgesehen von den ganz pragmatischen Zyklen die uns bestimmen, die Jahreszeiten etwa, bildet auch Werk in dieser Hinsicht keine Ausnahme und unterwirft sich den natürlichen Gegebenheiten einer saisonalen Veranstaltungsreihe, die in ihr nunmehr zweites Jahr startet. Nachdem unsere ersten Gehversuche von so viel positiver Resonanz begleitet waren, soll es programmatisch auch an den kommenden Terminen auf hohem Niveau weitergehen. Dafür haben wir für den vierten Donnerstag im März mit DJ Boss und Loktibrada zweimal geballte slowakische Durchschlagskraft zu Gast, die zusammen über 40 Jahre Cluberfahrung mit nach Berlin bringen. Gebündelt in flinken Fingerspitzen und gut sortierten Plattenkisten darf sich also auf eine Zeitreise in Techno und all seinen diversen Spielarten gefreut werden, die kontinentalübergreifend von Detroit mindestens bis ins östlichste Europa reicht. Um die damals wie heute so frischen und eindrucksvollen Ideen von Boss und Loktibrada nachvollziehen zu können, empfehlen sich die Anfänge, denn beide starteten pathetisch ins Produzentendasein. DJ Boss um die Milleniumwende mit zwei Eps auf DJ Rushs Kne’ Deep Label und Loktibrada 2003 auf Tresor beziehungsweise in Eigenregie als Olga & Jozef in ’99. Analog, trocken und kompromisslos wird es beim Livemoment des Abends, J.manuel, der als Recursion in Kürze sein Debüt auf dem frisch aus der Taufe gehobenen Magic Power Label geben wird. Für den Rahmen sorgen unsere Residents Balas und Realit. Kann also nichts schiefgehen. Rave on!
