DJ/Artist:
Templeton

Introduction:
Templeton ignited his DJ career at 15, evolving into a force within the underground scene. His sets pulse with a hypnotic fusion of industrial techno and electronica, reflecting his deep passion for sound. As the founder of Hypress Records, he consistently pushes boundaries, curating music that stands apart from the conventional.

His roots trace back to the early ‘90s in the autonomous centers of Thüringen, where Templeton’s love for electronic music grew from a blend of punk, rap, and the raw energy of acid, electro, and techno. This formative experience shaped his vision of how music and nightlife should unfold.

In Leipzig, Templeton has become a key figure, having spent over a decade contributing to the city’s music culture. His work includes releases with Mod.Civil on renowned labels like Ortloff, Ornaments, and Rotary Cocktails, as well as curating events at Distillery, IFZ, and Mjut. He’s also driven projects like HEET at Mjut Club and SENSORY at Elipamanoke.

After enduring a significant personal loss, Templeton has channeled his energy into a new project, JETSET, both as an event series and a DJ duo. This venture, alongside his established work with Hypress Records, where he releases music as Moton or Templeton, continues to showcase his versatility, featuring acts like Oliver Rosemann, Mørbeck, Swarm Intelligence, Thomas P. Heckmann and Irakli (Staub).

Templeton’s sets and productions are a relentless journey through electrifying Techno and Electro, making him a powerful presence on any stage.

DJ/Artist:
XTR Human

Introduction:
Born in fire and tempered in the batcaves and warehouse raves of Berlin, Johannes Stabel brings a leather-wrapped hammer to gothic nightlife. Amidst the burnt strobes and grime-soaked venues, Stabel reigns supreme as a Don, unleashing a torrent of raw emotion and relentless energy with “Schrank,” the fourth installment in XTR HUMAN’s discography. His deeply rich and arresting vocals herald back to the dark romance of ‘80s legends, while a mere flex of his fists send brvtal blasts of bass scurrying, emotional coldwave terminated beneath a furioso of modernized hardbody EBM beats that put the Schwarz in Schwarzenegger.

DJ:
Mario Berger

Introduction:
Mario always had a strong passion for the basement proof, bass driven facet of Techno.

Born and raised in Potsdam, a town at the gates of Berlin, it was quite obvious that he got bit by the local Techno bug sooner or later.

After early visits at the old Tresor club, inspired by the harsh, experimental sound and the pure atmosphere he soon started to dig deeper in the thing called Techno and sustainably found Hard Wax as the main educator in taste which helped him to define his own identity.

His DJ sets are a blend of major influences from artists like James Ruskin, Surgeon, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood or Planetary Assault Systems and labels like Underground Resistance, Downwards, Basic Channel and Tresor Records.

Successively he developed his DJ style and began playing at smaller events in his hometown. It was Alexander Kowalski who invited him to play at Tresor for the first time.

After playing at the “New faces” and “Tresor.Next” event series he was appointed to the resident team of Tresor.

As an integral part of the team Mario is also one of the curators of the “New faces” nights for quite a while now, where he is inviting young emerging artists that share the identical idea of Techno with the same splice of understatement.

Mario has released music on various labels, such as Mord Records and Konsequent.

His solo ep “Field Dominance“ was released on the Berlin based label KONFLKT.

DJ:
Ronny Krieger

Introduction:
About The DJ
Ronny Krieger’s passion and curiosity for art and creativity has been the driving force behind what he does, and for over 30 years now he’s been a staple in the music, tech and creative industries. After starting his career in banking and corporate lending, he followed his true passion for music as an artist, DJ and producer for many years.

In his teenage years he was a member of a synth pop band.

Ronny is a member of the vut board (the German independent music association) and a member of the expert committee for “Digitalisation and AI” at the German Cultural Council.

Previously, Ronny was a freelance consultant and advisor for companies like FatDrop, DJBroadcast, Shutterstock, Digitally Imported, Skoove, LANDR, Native Instruments, worked with artists like Modeselektor and Moderat, served as the VP and CPO of Beatport, GM of Patreon Europe and SVP Global Physical Sales at BMG.

He About His Mix
In a landscape saturated with breakneck speeds and nostalgia-laden beats of hard techno, hardcore, psy-tec or whatever people might call it, I sought to offer a compelling reminder that techno’s power transcends tempo. Setting the dial to an unusually slow 111 BPM – a deliberate departure from the frenetic pace – I delved into the depths of electronic music’s history, drawing parallels to the brooding pulse of EBM and the enigmatic allure of classic 80s electronics.

Embracing the shadows cast by slower tempos, I crafted a mix that exudes raw might and unyielding darkness. While I no longer frequent the DJ booth, having been absent for over two decades, this mix isn’t about technical perfection; it’s about weaving together a tapestry of sonic exploration. Expect the unexpected as I blend tracks from different eras, from fleeting nods to electronic pioneers to full-bodied techno spanning decades.

This isn’t your typical techno fare; I deliberately eschewed the current hits in favor of introducing listeners to new sonic territories. So sit back, immerse yourself in the unknown, and discover a multitude of artists for the first time. Enjoy!
